Anxiety & Depression

Enduring anxiety or depression can be isolating. Even on good days, intrusive “What if?” questions may pop into your head, or you may find yourself ruminating on the negatives.

I work alongside clients to establish solutions-focused goals to help you achieve the life that you aspire to live. Grounded in evidence-based treatments, including CBT, DBT, cognitive therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), you will learn several strategies aimed at reducing emotional distress, maintaining motivation, and overcoming fears.

We will build a personalized toolbox of skills that allows you to manage situations that may have felt difficult or impossible at first glance. Throughout this process, you will learn to identify triggers for anxious thoughts, challenge cognitive distortions, regain a sense of joy in your activities, and practice mindfulness to build tolerance for uncomfortable feelings. By gradually facing your fears and negative feelings in a supportive environment, you will strengthen your skill set to create long-term, sustainable change that will enhance your quality of life.
